Do you ever thank GOD when you wake in the morn'
Thank Him that for you a new day is born
Thank Him for bringing you safe through the night
For giving you another day to try and do right?
Do you thank Him as you go on your way
For all the beauty that surrounds you each day,
For the lovely trees, the grass and the flowers
For the glorious sunshine and the soft summer showers,
For the love of your family and all your friends,
For His wonderful bounty which never ends?
Do you ever thank GOD as you gaze at the sky
And see the different birds go soaring by,
For the chirp of a cricket and the birds in song?
There is so much to thank GOD for all day long
The laugh of a child, a small baby's smile.
Just stop and look and listen for a while.
It does not take long for you to say:
"Thank You GOD for this glorious day".
