A year has passed without leaving a breath
And still I mourn for my father's death,
Why is it so, that time passes by?
Without warning, I break down and cry !

A man of stature, proud and wise
Who's to judge since his demise?
Leaving behind a family in prayer
Yet not so open that they can share !

I love you dad, and always will
Missing you sends a constant chill,
Tears fall freely as the time comes near
An aching heart alone and with fear !

Yearning to call when times are tough,
From someone who knows me off the cuff.
If only time could turn back for awhile
The light would shine and allow me to smile !

The end of time is really a creation,
The love of God, a growing sensation,
Peace shall come as time passes on
Never forgetting the strength of our bond !
This poem was written by Mary whose father died suddenly last year just
before they were going to see him for the summer holidays. Mary did
not get to say her good bye to him...
